Orthodontic Care at Braceland

At Braceland, the West Surrey Orthodontic Centre we provide orthodontic care for children and adults under the NHS and privately. Full written details of our private care fees are available from our reception. There are many options and decisions when contemplating orthodontic care so please call us and we will be pleased to provide you with information.

Private patients

Patients who choose to pay for their treatment on a private basis will have a wider range of options and be able to choose from metal, gold or ceramic brackets for their braces. These are in addition to the following services that we provide for all of our patients:

  • Emergency Care
  • Regular check ups
  • Reminders that check ups are due
  • Full compliance with health and safety and current recommended infection control procedures

Paying for your dental care

The practice offers a number of different payment options and it may be possible for the treatment to be paid for in stages. Please ask at reception for further details. A copy of our private fee scale is available from our reception. Our private fees are based on a standard hourly rate which covers all of our practice expenses. This allows us to provide a high standard of care and service to our patients.

Keeping you informed

We like to keep to informed about your treatment and we take time to explain proposed treatment, any associated risks and any available alternatives. If there any additional costs that may be incurred we will explain these at the earliest stage. There will always be time to ask questions about your treatment or any other aspect of care at Braceland. As a patient of the ours you will receive regular check-ups and we encourage you to ask any questions you may have about your treatment.

Missed appointments

If you are not able to keep your appointment please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. We always welcome new patients so if you are pleased with the care and treatment from Braceland please recommend us to others.

Accessibility and data protection

Our premises and surgeries are accessible to wheelchairs. We take your privacy very seriously. In order to provide you with a high standard of orthodontic care and attention, we need to hold a certain amount of personal and medical information about you. Braceland complies with the 1998 Data Protection Act and our policy describes our procedures for ensuring that any personal information about patients is processed lawfully, considerately and is kept confidential.
